This man has represented Tasmania in junior cricket and junior football, vice-captaining the Tassie Mariners in the TAC Cup. He played one List A match for the Tasmania Tigers. After succeeding in domestic teams, he was called up to the Australian team for the first time in 2011. It was a Twenty20 International match against South Africa. He scored his maiden ODI century in 2017.

In the same year, he was named as ODI captain of Australia. He scored his maiden ODI century which came from 100 balls. On 2020, he was captained Australia for the first time who led the side in a T20I match against India. Wade was named in Australia’s squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament.
