Mr. Fadnavis entered into politics in the mid-nineties. He served in many leadership roles for both political parties and was elected representative. Devendra is an active socialist for the BJP party from his college days and at the age of 22, he became a corporator. After five years, in 1997 he became the youngest mayor of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Now, he is the chief minister of Maharashtra. Devendra is a representative of the legislative assembly of Maharashtra since 1999.
