Rashami started her acting career with her Assamese language film named Kanyadaan in 2002. Later, she made her debut in Bollywood via the Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke. In 2005, she starred in Shabnam Mausi. After that, she became popular through the Bhojpuri films like Gabbar Singh and Balma Bada Nadaan.
