She made her acting debut with the Assamese film Monot Birinar Jui. It was released in 2004, and this series director is Ashok Kumar Bishaya. In 2010, Rampi entered the mobile theatre industry of Assam through the mobile theatre group of the North-Eastern state. After that, she did acting in the Hindi television career in BIG Magic’s Akbar Birbal. Rimpi acted as Anarkali with famous actors like Kiku Sharda and Delnaaz Irani.
