Moreover, in 1988 BJP nominated him as the organizing secretary of parties Gujarat unit. In 1995 november, he was elected as the national secretary of the BJP. Next in the year 1998, he becomes the general secretary of the party BJP. On October 23, 2001, he become the chief minister of the state of Gujarat and it continued till the year 2014. Finally, he become the 14th prime minister of India in the year 30 May 2019.
